Pol Olivet is a practicing lawyer with over 15 years of experience, specializing in Criminal Law. Throughout his professional career, he has stood out in both legal practice and the academic and institutional spheres.
Currently, he is a professor of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Barcelona, as well as at the School of Legal Practice of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB), while also collaborating with other prestigious university institutions. He is a member of the Criminal Law Section of the ICAB, among others.
In the institutional field, he has served as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Barcelona Young Lawyers Group, member of the executive board of the Spanish Confederation of Young Lawyers, and elected member of the Board of Directors of Alter Mutua, reflecting his active involvement in bar association life and the promotion of professional development for young lawyers.
His career has been recognized with several awards in Criminal Law granted by the ICAB. Furthermore, he has authored numerous legal publications and contributed articles to specialized press outlets.

PhD in Law and Political Science with an excellent "cum laude" distinction and the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. He has carried out extensive academic work, authoring numerous articles in scientific journals and specialized monographs on various aspects of Criminal Law, covering both General and Special Parts. He has also collaborated on several collective works and been a member of various research groups. Additionally, he regularly speaks and gives lectures at courses, conferences, and seminars in his field of expertise.
As a lawyer, he has intervened in all types of criminal proceedings, assuming the legal representation of the interests of both the prosecution and the defense.
Marçal Lorente has held a Law degree from the University of Barcelona (UB) for over 25 years and is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) as a practicing trial lawyer.
Throughout his professional career, he has accumulated extensive experience as a lawyer specializing in Criminal Law and has completed various training programs at the ICAB's School of Legal Practice (EPJ).
He is a key contributor to different media outlets, especially television and print press, where he regularly participates in debates and articles, thanks to his legal knowledge and experience as a journalist.
